Based on customer feedback the existing shipment editing will be replaced with a more flexible replacement.

To replace the existing shipment editing process that creates a duplicate shipment whenever edits are made, we've created a new shipment editing workflow that allows all FreightPath users to edit a shipment at any time without creating duplicates.
This will allow for additional flexibility compared to the existing solution. Customers and carriers will continue to be notified of all edits, and any editing will remove completed signatures for legal reasons.
When's It Happening?
The improved shipment editing will be available for all users as part of release 5.123
