Summary
In FreightPath version 5.140 we're excited to release a number of long-awaited features, including: saveable tax codes, multiple document upload for compliance documents, mobile notifications and a new invoice template.
Version Number
5.140
Release Date
August 4, 2021
Based on user feedback, we've added full support for saveable tax codes that can be applied to invoices. Simply press the "add tax" button when editing an invoice and either add an existing tax code or create a new one.
Your full list of tax codes can be found and managed in your organization settings.
For the needs of freight brokers and 3PLs we've also added the long-awaited ability to upload and record expiry dates for multiple compliance documents. This replaces the prior insurance expiry system.
Now, you can upload an unlimited number of documents, including insurance, carrier packets, carrier contracts, and more - each with their own name and expiry date.
The feature still tracks the expiry date and notifies you when any document is expired with a popup warning that can be dismissed.
Another long-awaited feature, we've finally added real-time push notifications to the FreightPath Driver Mobile App. Now, drivers will receive push notifications when loads are dispatched to them.
To activate this feature, drivers will have to update the Driver Mobile App through the Apple App Store on iOS or the Google Play Store on Android. Links to do so can be found at https://freightpath.io/download.
To better serve the needs of 3PLs and freight brokers, we've completely overhauled our invoice template to be more professional, easy-to-read, and informative.
All invoices in FreightPath have been automatically upgraded to the new template.
Version 5.140 will begin rollout to all users starting August 4. Mobile notifications will require drivers to download an update from the App Store or Play Store.
“With FreightPath, the ability to track freight, complete paperwork, and share updates within seconds has become invaluable; not just for my team but for my customers and carriers too.”
