Shipment Editing

Our users love FreightPath because it allows them to provide their customers with real-time status updates, track and trace, and manage all their shipment documentation electronically in a way that's friendly for dispatchers and accountants.

However, our users have overwhelmingly asked us (and rightfully so!) for the ability to edit shipment while in-transit. Why?

Because transportation isn't perfect. Quotes are sent out with mistakes. Routes need to be changed last minute. Documents need contact information updated midway into a shipment. Entire stops might be added or removed!

The problem is, FreightPath didn't support this level of flexibility, so our product team got to work. What they've built is remarkable - a process that not only allows for iterative changes to shipments even while they're in transit, but keeps every stakeholder in the loop about changes the minute they happen through instant email alerts, and maintains bookkeeping integrity with full document and shipment edit history.

Another long-awaited feature is the ability to create customized reporting directly inside FreightPath.

While we've always given users the ability to export their shipment data to analyze using third party tools like Excel, our customers wanted the ability to save and create custom reports for driver pay, customer transaction history, lane history, sales commissions, and more.

Our product team realized they could create each of these imperfectly, or they could do something better. Now, you can easily create filtered reports based on customer, carrier, driver, assignee, origin location, destination location, and more. Even better, you can customize the exact data columns included in your reports so you get exactly what you need each time.
